History: Gorgon was the only son of architect Korath and archivist Milena, leading citizens of the Inhumans' city-state Attilan. Korath was brother to Agon, king of the Inhumans. Thus, Gorgon is considered a member of the Royal Family.

During Attilan's war with Trikon, Gorgon was forced to flee his home along with disposed ruler Black Bolt and the rest of the Royals. The misunderstanding soon was resolved, and the outcasts returned to Attilan. Gorgon remains one of Black Bolt's most trusted aides, and one of Attilan's staunchest defenders.

Known Superhuman Powers: Gorgon's abilities are centered in his massively muscled legs and hoof-like feet. The lower half of his body makes up about three-quarters of his total weight -- particularly the thick, dense muscles of his thighs and calves. As a result of exposure to the Terrigen Mist, Gorgon' s legs can generate vibration on a molecular level so as to develop an intense pulse of kinetic energy. The Inhuman is able to create seismic tremors of up to 7.5 on the Richter scale.
