History: Glynis and Ilya Zarkov are a married couple who work as stage magicians and perform at the Magic Mansion in New York City, a club which they own and where other stage magicians perform as well. Unlike other stage magicians, however, Glamor and Illusion have actual superhuman powers which they use to perform their amazing feats. Due to the fear and prejudice much of the populace feels towards people with superhuman abilities, Glamor and Illusion pretend to be ordinary human beings who accomplish their "magic" feats through the usual trickery employed by stage magicians.

The Zarkovs live in the quiet town of Leonia, New Jersey, which is only a short drive from New York City. When the android Vision and mutant Scarlet Witch first moved to Leonia, bigoted local residents burned down their house. Determined not to be intimidated, the Vision and Scarlet Witch bought another house there. The Zarkov's feared that if the bigots tried to drive the Vision and the Scarlet Witch away again, then the Zarkovs themselves might become the bigots' next target. Hence, the Zarkovs decided to protect the Vision and Witch in order to protect themselves. Spying on a group of local bigots, the Zarkovs learned that they planned to firebomb the Vision and Witch's new house. The Zarkovs then used their powers to thwart the bigots' plans. The Zarkovs have since become friends with the Vision and Scarlet Witch, and aided them in countering an attack launched against them by the mutant Toad.

Strength Level: At her normal density Glamor has the normal human strength of a woman of her age, height, and build who engages in regular exercise. However, when she increases her density, her strength increases as well, just as the Vision's does. The extent of Glamor's strength at her maximum density is not yet known.

Known Superhuman Powers: Glamor has the superhuman ability to control the molecules of her body mentally. The origin of her power has not yet been revealed. So far few of the uses of Glamor's ability have been observed, but it is known that she can control the density of her molecules. Hence she can become virtually intangible, and in that state can walk through walls, when nearly intangible, she can touch the Vision if he is also at the same degree of intangibility. She can also seem to disappear by turning intangible. She can increase the density of her molecules as well.

Glamor can use her mental control of tier her body molecules to separate her body into segments without harm to herself, and then to rejoin the segments to regain her normal form.
